Kitchen and first floor remodel in Ijamsville

“We engaged Talon to remodel our kitchen, main floor living space and a portion of upstairs hall/foyer.

From the start, our relationship was great. Paul did a great job setting realistic expectations and ensuring we understood the burden of remodeling. Brian was awesome in design. Paul did a great job scoping and ensuring we understood full contract details.

Our crew… we cannot say enough! Everyone from Talon was professional, courteous and went out of their way to minimize remodeling disruption. Every day wrapped up with job site clean-up, minimizing dust/dirt from ending up in other parts of the house. To say the crew cares about their customers is an understatement. Early in our project, there was lumber in our driveway over the weekend. Saturday looked like rain so I moved the lumber into the garage. On Monday, one crew member asked how it got into the garage because he came by Saturday to move it inside (on his own time). That was a testament to how much Talon crew members care about their clients.

Workmanship pride was extremely prevalent. We had a very open and transparent relationship. Nothing was complete until we were happy with it. Vendors were held to the same standards as Talon employees. Hutch did a great job managing vendors to ensure work was done in the sequence that kept our project moving. Even with some added change orders, the crew finished about a week early.

When the project finished, Ed came out to review work, provided information on warranty, and reassured us that if we found anything after the project, they’d be back to fix it.

Talon will not be your cheapest bid, but we believe in the adage, “you get what you pay for.” The value in crew professionalism, workmanship, and increased value in our home justified the cost. A key indicator of a happy customer is a return customer or one willing to give a recommendation. In our case, it’s both. We’ll use Talon again and without question, we recommend Talon to anyone looking for top-notch workmanship in any remodeling projects.”
