Create New Outdoor Living Space

Challenge:

To create a spectacular screened porch that encompasses the view of their existing in ground pool and gorgeous landscaping. Furthermore we would need to meet the client’s high standards and expectation of quality workmanship within budget and without delays.

Solution:

Our design build process eliminates the uncertainty that accompanies any home renovation. Through this process we establish our clients’ needs and vision then provide a comfortable budget range for their project. Once the design is completed and a detailed contract signed, the real craftsmanship can begin. We replaced an existing sliding door with an Anderson French wood sliding glass patio door. Removed existing decking and replaced it with slate gray Azek decking. Our skilled carpenters hand framed the rafters for the cathedral ceiling then installed knotty pine tongue and groove on the ceiling for a truly custom look. Azek low maintenance trim covers all exterior wood. The synthetic railing is maintenance free while the recessed lighting and ceiling fan add comfort at all times of day. High impact bug screening is both durable and pet resistant and makes this porch useful all year around.

What the client had to say:

“I will make this short because the job (Screened in porch/Fireplace/Cultured stone chimney) went exactly as planned and as contracted. From the day my wife and I visited the Talon office for a design consult to the last day with it was finished, it has been a pleasure. The workers and subcontractors were professional, courteous, plus the quality of workmanship area exceeded my high standards. I’ve hired several contractors over the years and I have had the good/bad/and ugly. This was one of the best.

P.S. “One of the best features was the air tight contract that spelled out what Talon was responsible for was and what we as the home owners were responsible for. There was never a question or gray area, if you wanted something not on the contract you could change it and pay for it with a change order. Well done Talon, Thanks!”
