“We used Talon to finish and remodel our half-finished basement. The work consisted of building a bedroom with a window egress, building a new bathroom including installation of the entire sewage line, and building a stairwell egress into the backyard. This also included painting, duct work, tile work, etc. All the work performed was excellent in quality and very timely. Save for a delay of 2-3 weeks in the production of a custom window due to COVID, the project would have finished several weeks ahead of time. “Recently your firm completed a project at our home in Monrovia, MD. I just wanted to take a few moments to let you know how extremely pleased with the work that was done.
It’s hard to know where to start. Right from the beginning, Paul Rosner was very accommodating over the phone and listened to my hopes. Then he and Brian Sharpe came to my home and had a look at the space we were hoping to remodel. We had very specific needs since we were wanting to install a swim spa in our basement. We were concerned about issues such as condensation, humidity, and chlorine smell. I also have issues with low vision, so the lighting was a concern for me as well. They were very attentive and thorough in their inspection of the areas of concern. We also wanted a new basement bathroom, remodeled storage room, and some remodeling of the main room in the basement. Also, upstairs we wanted to remodel our laundry room.
After listening thoroughly, Paul and Brian had us come to the office where we viewed their proposed ideas. We were automatically impressed with the amount of detail and specific attention drawn to our needs. We signed the contract and were anxious to begin.
Once construction started, Eddie Parks was assigned as our Superintendent. He was friendly and attentive to our specifications at every step throughout the project. Keith and Jake did excellent work. Their attention to detail was very impressive. They made sure that each little detail was attended to with excellent results.
We were kept informed throughout the process. Helpful suggestions were given to us along the way that we adopted that made our project turn out great. The addition of a ceramic tiled wall at the end of the swim spa has helped enormously with splashing control. I was so pleased to find that the rooms were very well lit. They even installed lighting down each side of the staircase at the bottom of the stairs which makes it far easier for me to use the stairs safely. Now that the project is finished, my husband and I are both thrilled with the outcome. We are absolutely wowed with the finished product. At every step of the construction we were treated with friendliness and courtesy. All the workmen were extra clean and respectful of our home and yard. The communications were frequent and thorough. It has been an extreme pleasure working with Talon, and we will gladly recommend your company for any project.
